Lt Governor's Message
May 2008

We have passed the half way mark for my year of service... and I am so pleased with all of the efforts and hard work our clubs have put into helping our community. But we still have so much to do.

Christmas in July is coming up fast. This year we will host our annual event for the homeless children in Broward County on July 12 at the Bank Atlantic Center. Volunteer sign up sheets are making their way to our clubs as you read this. I encourage you all to volunteer. The day is always fun and fulfilling. (Don't forget...we are still collecting shoes for the kids. If you club is collecting, bring them to the next DCM or let Celia or Holly know what you have so that we may plan accordingly.) With the economy and housing industry in such a state we are expecting a lot of kids this year.
