Kiwanis Club of
Pompano Beach Westside
It is with great pleasure to welcome you to our web site. Kiwanis Club of Pompano Beach Westside, Division 23 is a small but progressive club. We trust that reading our history will give you some insight of what we are about as well as our commitment to the community.
Kiwanis Club of Pompano Beach Westside was founded September 1993 by an interesting group of African American men. These men recognized and envisioned a certain greatness for their community...the children, our future. There was a global concern within the community which was recognized as they realized that the needs are great and they must be met. Building a bond with the schools and the community at large was an ideal place to start by awarding academic excellences earned by students, aiding the senior citizens, assisting, as well as guiding, children and enhancing projects for the less fortunate in the community.
The Westside Kiwanis are continually striving to address the humanitarian needs of our community. The genders has joined together and become a beacon in the Pompano Beach Westside community. The membership is increasing and our goal and focus remain constant with emphasis on the children/youth, community and rendering service to the needy.
